A Wedding in the Spotlight

Free exhibition on the global media operation around the 1956 royal wedding. Until February 2027.

For another perspective on the same historic event, the Institut Audiovisuel de Monaco presents “Un mariage sous les projecteurs” until February 2027.

The exhibition focuses on the extraordinary media operation surrounding the 1956 wedding, with films, photographs and archives showing how Monaco became the centre of global attention.

Entry is free. Open Monday to Thursday, 9:30–12:30 and 13:30–17:30; on Friday it closes at 16:30.
